Larry L. Vincent, 70, of St. Clairsville, OH died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Liza’s Place of Valley Hospice, Wheeling, WV. He was born January 31, 1945 in Martins Ferry, OH a son of Juanita Catlipp Vincent and the late Joseph Vincent.
Larry was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporations Steubenville South Plant at Mingo Junction. He was a member of the Shiloh Temple Apostolic Church and enjoyed remodeling his home, the dog track, an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, tinkering with his cars and challenging his sons to pool and ping pong games.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; two brother-in-laws; two uncles; and a nephew.
Surviving are his mother, Juanita Vincent; his wife, Carole Johnson Vincent, both of St. Clairsville; his children, Sharon Vincent of Columbus, OH., Joseph Michelle Vincent of Wheeling, WV., Wayne Vincent and Shawn Jodi Vincent both of St. Clairsville, and Cassandra Alfred Alexander of Martins Ferry; two sisters, Shirley Brown of St. Clairsville and Madelyn Freeman of Martins Ferry; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; an aunt, several cousins, many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm at Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville with Rev. Bobby Black officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
