Dear Bobby,

I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. I only met him a few times but he was always upbeat and had a great sense of humor. I know you were close to him and I hope you are holding up ok. I just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you.

Take care,

I have a few other men that are like fathers to me and I love them all but Kermit Jessie Spivey Jr. was my DAD and I love him. I didn’t tell him enough, I always thought I had time, I was wrong. He always took my side, even when we both knew I was wrong. I’ve known him all my life, he’s always been there for me, what do I do now ? Yes he liked to drink, he cursed and he would tell you off in a heartbeat if he didn’t agree but he loved his family and friends. I wish I was strong enough to say some of these things for him Tues., I feel like no one told his story but I couldn’t. I’ve had some trouble with my faith latley and sometimes I’m not real sure but I believe a man can be judged by the lives he left behind and Tues. the place was full, he had alot of people that cared about him. Kermit Jessie Spivey Jr. was my DAD and I’ll miss him.

May your hearts that are filled with grief today hold and remember the fun, love and laughter that will always stay. For the best of times that are shared through the years, are often remembered with the warmest of tears. In the blink of an eye, 45 years has flown by. But the the love of your family and friends will last forever. With the good Lord above holding you in his love having received his new red headed angel. Happy birthday, Sweet 16.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you thru this time of grief. I can not tell any of you enough how sorry I am. Kermit was a great man to us. He has been around my family so long, he is family to us too. My kids Danielle, Travis and Brittany adored him very much. Everytime we would go to the garage and he was there they would go up and give him a big hugg. It meant alot to them and him. He will be deeply missed by us. If any of you all need anything give me a call. Love all you very much Betty Sissy and Kids
