VIRGINIA BEACH- Kenneth H. Kinard Sr., 74, of Virginia Beach, passed away January 1, 2007 at Sentara Leigh Hospital.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Shirley E. Kinard; his sister, Leona Snyder; two sons, Kenneth H. Kinard Jr., and David M. Kinard; two daughters, Darlene M. Kinard and Candace M. Mitcham; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his dog, Ginger.

Services will be private.

Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
