ANDERSON, Kathryn "Babe" Warner, 81, of Barton, Ohio, formerly of Wheeling, WV, died Sunday, June 8, 2003 in Pine Valley Care Center, Richfield, Ohio. She was born Jan. 10, 1922 in Wheeling, daughter of the late Henry and Flora Altherr Warner. She was a member of the former St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and of former Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Barton; she was a member of St. Mary’s Christian Mothers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman F. "Buck" Anderson, 2001; a son, James Anderson; and a great-grandson, Michael Anderson. Surviving are a son, David Anderson and friend, Gloria, of Maynard, Ohio; four daughters, Kathryn Flesch and her husband Bill of Wheeling, Patricia Krueger and her husband, Kevin, of San Diego, Ca., Barbara Jean Bennett and her husband, Ric, of Brunswick, Ohio, Rita Marie Neal and her husband, Bill of Fort Bragg, N.C.; a sister, June Jefferson and her husband Fred of Wheeling; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, where vigil service will be held at 7 pm. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Thursday, June 12, 2003 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. Patrick Condron as celebrant. Interment in Linwood Cemetery, Blaine, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Alphonsus Youth Center, 2115 Market St., Wheeling, WV 26003.
