YAEGER, Kathleen O’Brien, 94, formerly of Wheeling, died February 3, 2008 in Annapolis, Md.

Kathleen was born April 17, 1913 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late John Joseph Patrick O’Brien and Blanche A. Reynolds O’Brien. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Yaeger, Jr.; three brothers, Thomas P. O’Brien, John Joseph Patrick O’Brien and William R. O’Brien; and three sisters, Genevieve O’Brien, Estella Whelan and Blanche Kelly.

She is survived by her son, Louis J. Yaeger, III and his wife, Billie of Menomonee Falls, Wis.; four daughters, Blanche Guthrie and her husband, Terry of Virginia Beach, Va., Kathleen Zabora and her husband, James of Pikesville, Md., Mary Anne Anthony and her husband, Dan of Riva, Md. and Karen Yaeger and John Francis of Charlottesville, Va.; and a brother, Clement E. O’Brien and his wife, Nancy of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Louis J. Yaeger, IV, Kate Burke, Meghan Guthrie, Michael Zabora, Elizabeth Zabora and Kate Anthony, as well as four great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:15 am, Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy, Wheeling. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements are by Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling.
