Katherine J. Isaacs, 82, of the 500 block of Boxwood Lane, died Friday January 25, 2008 in Virginia Beach surrounded by family. She was born in Chisford, Westmoreland County, VA to the late James and Agnes Bryant Jenkins. She was a member of the Chantilly Chapter DAR, Virginia Chapter Hugenot Society, Northern Neck Historical Society and a member of Providence United Methodist Church, Chiltons, VA. She was predeceased by her brother James R. Jenkins.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 52 years, William B. Isaacs, Sr. of Virginia Beach, a daughter Katherine I. Bandujo and her husband Nick of Boerne, TX, a son William B. Isaacs Jr. of Virginia Beach, grandsons Bobby and Jonathan Isaacs of Virginia Beach, Kyle, William and granddaughter Sarah Bandujo all of Boerne, TX, and a sister Beatrice J. England of Chisford, VA.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 27, 2008 from 6-8PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road Virginia Beach. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 2:00PM at the Providence United Methodist Church, Chilton, VA with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Monday evening from 6-8PM at the Welch Funeral Home in Montross, VA. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. BILL IT IS A JOYFUL DAY FOR KAY TODAY AS SHE ENTERED INTO THE PEARLY GATES. PLEASE ACCEPT OUR HEARTFUL SYMPATHY AND MAY THE LORD GIVE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY THE STRENGTH TO GO ON. EVEN THOUGH WE NEVER MET KAY WE FEEL LIKE WE KNEW HER BECAUSE OF YOU.
