Katherine I. Hercules
Mrs Katherine I. Hercules of Wyoming Avenue, East Liverpool, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2002, at the Kendred Hospital in Oakdale, Pa. after an extended illnes.
She was born in Hannibal, Ohio on December 20, 1917. The daughter of the late Oscar and Mable Definbaugh Tisher, Mrs Hercules had lived most of her life in this area.
Mrs Hercules was a Homemaker and a graduate of the Hannibal High School class of 1936. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in East Liverpool, it’s Susanna Wesley Circle and the Women’s Fidelis Club.
She is survived by her husband, George J. Hercules, Whom she married on April 14, 1940.
Other survivors include one son, Joseph Tisher Hercules of Wellsville, a daughter, Judy Hercules of Medina, Ohio, one Brother, Walter Tisher of Piqua, Ohio, a sister, Elizabeth Fry of Hannibal, Ohio , two Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by one brother, Oscar W. Tisher and a sister, Wilma Wells.
Services will be held at the East Liverpool Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dave Maly of the church officiating.
Burial will follow in the Columbiana Co. Memorial Park.
Friends may visit with the family at the Funeral Home in East Liverpool on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM.
