Justine E. Griffith, 83, of Spring Park, St. Clairsville, OH died Wednesday December 20, 2006 in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born April 8, 1923 at Watkins Glenn, NY, a daughter of the late John R. and Florence Weed Eisenhart.

Justine was a former employee of the Department of the Navy in Washington, DC during WW11 and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of St. Clairsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Louis M. Griffith in 1977.

Surviving are her children Linda Bernie Bilica, Slidell, LA, Gary R. Mary Griffith and Diane Joe Slavik both of St. Clairsville, her grandchildren Tiffany, Ben and Brian Bilica, Rebecca, Jenny and Louie Griffith, Daniel, Claire and Luke Slavik and her great grandchildren, Sam, Josh, Megan and Triston Bilica, a brother J. Richard Sylvia Eisenhart of Penn Yan, NY, a sister-in-law, Betty Nick Evick and brother-in-law Don Marge Griffith.

Friends will be received 4-8 pm Friday at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory St. Clairsville where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 am with Rev. Homer Harden officating. Burial follows in Union Cemetery St. Clairsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.

Diane and Family,

Sorry for the recent loss of your mom. I know this will bring much sadness to you all,but hold in your heart all the happy memories of her and she will always be close.

A holiday is never easy to loose someone but this Christmas you will have a special angel to look down and bless all of you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Heaven will be a better place with Justine there. She was a special person. We all loved her and will miss her at the breakfast club, and looking over to see her in her special seat in church.
