VIRGINIA BEACH- June Myers Ingle, 83, passed away January 21, 2014. She is the daughter of the late Aaron Frances Myers, Sr. and Lelia Winfield. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her loving husband William Harvey Ingle; son, William Edward Ingle and 5 sisters and 2 brothers. June Ingle was an exquisite woman, wife, mother and “Grandmamá.” From her sweet smile to her loving, gentle touch, June was here on a mission to give light and love to all she met. She delighted in the laughter of little children, the delicateness of pink flowers and the faces and voices of her friends and family. Her joy was the joy of others. Her beauty, both inside and out, was nothing short of magnificent. And while her spirit and body have temporarily parted ways, she’ll be remembered in the hearts and the souls of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren forever. The stories of her love will simply go on living.
She is survived by her loving children; Lelia Anderson and her husband, Gary, Ivie Gordon and her husband, Michael J. , Sr.; 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2pm at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4780 Princess Anne Rd, Virginia Beach.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. Burial will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at altmeyer.com. To our beloved Momma, Grandmamá, and Great-Grandmamá, we’ll be loving you, always. Until we meet again
My memories are many over the 54 years that I have known June. We will miss her very much. Kathy and I are so glad we could spend a few days with June the end of September 2013.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We were so lucky to have known June for the 49 years we have lived 2 doors down from her. We will really miss her and her family.
What a beautiful tribute to such a beautiful lady. I know how much she loves you all and she always lit up even brighter than is her nature to talk about you and your wonderful talents. I truly count it as one of my greatest blessings to know your family. She is a true matriarch! Our love and prayers continue for all of you. May you be blessed and sustained as you mourn and rejoice together.
Love Susie and Doug Morris
