Joyce L. Sterling, 64 passed away January 4, 2009. Mrs. Sterling was born January 23, 1944, in Norfolk, Va.

She was a member of Gateway Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Sterling, four children, Diane Covington, David Sterling, Debbie Cash, and Donna Kowalke, a brother, Ralph Everton, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Greenwich Road Chapel on Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Gateway Free Will Baptist Church with burial in Rosewood Memorial Park.
