HALAVONICH, Josephine Dumisinecz, 88, of North Olmsted, Ohio, formerly of Benwood, WV, died Saturday, March 8, 2008 in St. John’s West Shore Hospital, West Lake, Ohio.
She was born January 4, 1920 in Bellaire, OH, a daughter of the late Charles and Sophia Cedaron Dumisinecz.
She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Benwood.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John P. Halavonich, two brothers, Charles and John Dumisinecz, two sisters, Mary Dumisinecz and Ann Hummel.
Surviving is one daughter, Shirley A Pascuzzi and her husband Frank of North Olmsted, OH; one brother, Frank Dumas and his wife Beverly of Wheeling, WV; one sister, Helen Dumisinecz of Warwood, WV; two grandchildren, Kristina Frangella and her husband Timothy of Cleveland, OH; Natalie Pascuzzi of Columbus, OH; a great grandchild, Camden Frangella.
Friends received 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, where vigil services will be held at 4:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008,
in St. John’s Catholic Church, Benwood, with Rev. Joseph Hayden as celebrant.
Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
