Josephine Elizabeth "Beth" Manypenny
Age: 88

Josephine Elizabeth "Beth" Manypenny, 88, of Franklin, Kentucky died on Thursday, January 15, 2004 at the Medical Center in Franklin. A native of Leetonia, OH, she became the daughter of the late Michael Louis Frenger and Louise Julia Beling Frenger on October 10, 1915.

Mrs. Manypenny worked at East Liverpool City Hospital for 23 years before her retirement in 1980.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Noel A. Manypenny who died in 1956.

She is survived by a son: Michael Noel Manypenny of Gloucester, VA; a daughter: Jane Green of Franklin, KY ; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three Step-Grandchildren and eight Step Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dave Maly of the First United Methodist Church in East Liverpool, OH officiating.

Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Wellsville on Tuesday, January 20, 2004 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
