Hazel,

I am so sorry that I was traveling when I received the sad news of Joe’s passing.

I had the honor and pleasure of working with Joe on the Credit Union Board, both during and after our Credit Unions merged.

We have lost a willing worker, a great leader and a very fine friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have served for several years with Joe on the Ohio Valley Community Credit Union Board of Directors. Joe was an inspiration to me with his willingness to give his time and energy to serve others, his sense of humor and enjoyment of life. We will greatly miss his contributions to the leadership of the credit union. I hope his family will find some comfort in the fact that Joe gave a great deal to his community and will be sadly missed by me and many others.
