Arlene, I send to you my deepest sympathy in the passing of Joe. I didn’t know him but remember how happy you were at school when you were married. Our son, James, told us of Joe’s illness and passing. He works at Penn Power and thought highly of Joe.

May God welcome him into His kingdom and sustain you in your grief. My prayers are with you and your family.

As one of Joe’s childhood friends, my memories are many. Getting beat up by his older brother both Joe and I against Mike in a wrestling match, hopping cars in the snow, his dog Prince bitting me, etc. Later on Joe was one of the few home town friends that came for a visit no matter where I moved around in the US. We always laughed a lot; good times were had by all.
