BROZOVICH, Joseph Michael 78, of Nesbitt Addition, Triadelphia, died Friday, April 21, 2006 in Wheeling Hospital.
Joseph was born May 3, 1927 in Triadelphia, a son of the late John and Katie Kostilic Brozovich. He was a retired mechanic, and a member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church and St. Vincent de Paul Church, Wheeling, and was a US Navy veteran of WWII.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Blaskovich and Rose Foster; and two brothers, George and John Brozovich.
Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years, Lillian M. Palermo Brozovich; four children, Janice Chaykowsky and her husband John, and Cheryl Linton and her husband Mark, all of Wheeling, George Brozovich and his wife Vicki of Charlottesville, Va, and Patty Hieronimus and her husband Terry of Washington, Pa.; a sister, Katherine Watenpool of Indiana; five grandchildren, Carrie Fitzpatrick and her husband Sean, J.B. Chaykowsky, Matt Brozovich, Nicki Brozovich and Ryan Hieronimus; three great-grandchildren, Alex Brown, Mikey Fitzpatrick and Conor Fitzpatrick; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-9 pm Monday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, where vigil services will be held at 7:30 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Lacrosse as celebrant. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to either the Easter Seals, 1305 National Road, Wheeling, WV 26003, or the American Cancer Society, 122 South High Street, Morgantown, WV 26501
