Sabo, Joseph F., 57, of Glen Easton, WV died Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at the McElroy Mine. He was born December 2, 1946 in GlenDale, WV a son of the late Joseph F. and Mildred Murphy Sabo. He was an employee of Consol Energy Company; a Protestant by faith; a US Navy Vietnam War veteran and a member of the National Rifle Association. Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman and will be dearly missed by his nephews and nieces. Surviving are his wife Starr E. Jobes Sabo; a son, Mark Sabo and his wife Cyndi of Glen Easton; two daughters, Tammy Sabo of Wheeling and Debby Ruble of Salem, WV; a sister Verda L. Jones and her husband Pastor Jim Jones of the Middle Grave Creek Church of God, of Moundsville; five grandchildren Lee and Jason Stern, Natascha Sabo, Joshua and Shauna Blaniar; several nieces and nephews. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave. Moundsville where services will be held at 11 am Friday, August 20, 2004 with the Rev. Dave Sessums and Pastor Jim Jones officiating. Interment in Beelers Station Cemetery, Cameron, WV.

Mrs. Sabo & Family:

I am so very sorry for your loss. My son, PJ Dalbo, worked and golfed with Joe. He is devastated over the loss of such a good man. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
