Joseph F. Pramik, 91, of Maynard, Ohio , died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at his home.
He was born August 20, 1916 at Maynard, a son of the late
August and Anna Bala Pramik.
He was a retired mine mechanic for Consolidated Coal Co., Georgetown, Ohio.
Joseph was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Maynard and a WWII Marine veteran, having served in the Pacific region.
He was a member of American Legion Post 666 of Maynard and the Knights of Columbus.
He was an avid sportsman, loved bowling and golfing and had a weedless garden.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Mary Elizabeth Pramik in 2005, three brothers; Frank, Elmer and Louis and five sisters; Helen, Julie, Mary, Rose and Geneva.
Surviving are three sons; Joseph E. Maria Pramik, Harrisburg, PA., David L. Pramik, Oakland, CA., Michael A. Wendy Pramik, Columbus, Ohio, two daughters: Mary Jean Pramik, San Francisco, CA. and Barbara A. Suren Rao, Boalsburg, PA., a brother, John Carolyn Pramik, Alexandria, VA., his sister, Francis Tabacchi, Adena, Ohio and ten grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Friday, March 7, 2008, at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 West Main Street, St. Cliarsville, Ohio 43950, where a vigil service will be held at 3 PM, and an American Legion visitation service will be held at 7 PM.
A funeral liturgy with Mass will be held Saturday at 10 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Maynard, Ohio, with Father Thomas Graven the celebrant.
Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, Ohio.

Dear Cousins,
