Dear Nardo family,

Condolences from the E.W. Scripps company. We didn’t know Joe, but effectively we knew him through Dom. It broke our collective heart when Dom left us and moved to Philly, but he wanted to be near his Dad. He was a stellar son, so we know his father was the same.

We send our love and affection.

Kathy & Family,

I’m sorry we just heard about Joe, and wanted to pass along our heartfelt condolences to you and the family. We all have fond memories of a life time of fun and laughs with our families and for being good friends with Dad and Mom over the years. I’m so glad we had a chance to visit that last time out at the farm. I hope we can stay in touch. We have you in our prayers.

Kathy, Perry, Chris, and all the family,

The thing I will always remember about Joe is his huge, radiant smile. The man was always smiling every time I saw him, and it was infectious. I will also remember all of the 4th of July picnics at Bunny Lane. It was a big part of growing up.

Now he’s in heaven, meeting up with old friends, including my dad. May they have a wonderful time! Please accept my sincere respects.

An old teammate and classmate here.

I’m profoundly sorry to hear of your loss of your Dad. I remember him being a loyal supporter of us, a common fixture at our games and a heck of a nice guy.

Best Wishes,

You are all in our thoughts. I’ll always remember how dapper he looked dancing with Kathy at Natalie’s wedding. Kristen has always had such kind things to say about Joe. Andy and Sydney think the world of him and will miss him greatly, life’s lessons are not easy.

With Only Our Best, Kevin and Becky Fix
