Johnna E. Simkanin, 42, of Bellaire, formerly of Allen Park, Mich., died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born May 1, 1959 in Detroit, Mich., a daughter of John and Donna Tyler Simkanin of Ocala, Fla.
She was a Catholic by faith.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Michael E. Kolle and his wife, Gina of Germany; three daughters, Jody E. Boyd-Kolle and her husband, Donald of Wheeling, Donna and Tammy Jones, both of Bellaire; a brother, John Simkanin and his wife, Carey of Ann Arbor, Mich.; two sisters, Deaone Simkanin of San Tee, Calif., Missy Hodge and her husband, Mike of Howell, Mich.; four grandchildren, Dustin, Schrump, Jade Manning, and Kiersten Boyd, all of Wheeling; one great-grandchild, Mercedes Crawford of Bellaire.
There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling, with the Rev. H. Joseph Wilhelm S.M. officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
