Dear Horbatak Family,

I am deeply saddened by John’s passing. Please accept my deepest sympathies. John was not only a tremendous resource to me as we worked together in the DC market place but more importantly had a tremendous soul as an individual. He will be missed but never forgotten in the BI family. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

Dear Horbatak Family,

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I have known John for several years through BI and was very excited about our paths crossing again recently based on overlapping responsibilities. We had breakfast and spent a couple of hours together two weeks ago. True to form, John was an incredible resource and so willing to help others. Virtually everyone in our Region knew and worked with John. Johnís position was difficult in that he handled high profile issues which required interaction with many different people who had various needs. Despite this challenge, he proved to be the rarest of individuals in that the only words you would ever hear about John were glowing accolades. John will be sorely missed professionally, but even more so as the outstanding human being he was to others.

Dear Lynette and Family,

I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing. I wish the best for your family during your time of sorrow.

John and I were colleagues with BIPI. We participated in several training classes together and, of course, attended many meetings. During those times, I really got to know John- whom I have the upmost respect for.

Again, I am so sorry for your loss. My family and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

John was a dear person whom I had the pleasure to work with during my time in managed care. He was the best at what he did and I admired him very much. He shared and talked about you Lynette and your children at each meeting with much love and pride.

Dear Lynette and family,

Words cannot adequately express the sadness I feel for your sudden loss. John and I were colleagues for several years, and I recall fondly the time we spent together.

As you must now know, John was regarded by his peers and customers as a consummate professional. But more than that, take comfort in knowing that he touched the lives of so many people in a positive way.

Your loss is shared by many who now hold you in their thoughts and prayers.

Dear Lynette,

I cannot express how much John touched our lives. It seems like yesterday that I met John and extended him an offer where he joined the Cleveland district.

We have so many fond memories of our POA meetings, lots of laughter and the beginning of a long friendship.

Everyone that knew John respected his strong work ethic and family bond. He was a gentleman in every way.

Steve and I send our condolences to you, Heather, Christopher and Michael.

Dr. Horbatak Family,

Please except my deepest sympathies at John’s recent passing. I feel lucky to have known and worked with him at BI for the past 6+ years. He was always very helpful to me and often spoke of his family and making it back home for the Friday night football games when we were together. I wish you great strength during this time of mourning as the suddenness of his loss must be very difficult.

I will miss him very much.

I first met John at the Aggrenox launch in the Bahamas in 1999, having just beginning employment with Boehringer. He was such a great guy, fun to be with, and will be missed tremendously. Given all that, I knew John’s heart and I know he is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! John will be remembered by me until the day I join him in his heavenly abode.

I had one of the most enjoyable conversations with John for nearly an hour on Friday morning, June 30. Besides the shock of his untimely departure… I can honestly say that John went out on top, and at peace with the world. As my Federal counterpart in Government Accounts for BIPI… I only hope to one day approach the standard of excellence he set. He will be remembered as one of the most genuine, pleasant, and supportive men I have had the pleasure of knowing. God bless!

Lynette & Family,

As you know, I knew John since the 5th grade! Of all my friends from grade school and high school there were none whom I regretted not having more contact with over the years than John. His spirit and personality made him such a great person to be around.

Catching up with him a few years ago at Jerome’s wedding in LA was a great time and one I’ll always remember.

Please accept our sincerest condolences and know that he’ll always be remembered.

Lynette,

It has taken me such a long time to send my condolences because I have had a hard time accepting that he’s gone. I still have emails from him that I can’t bring myself to delete. I hope I do not upset you by writing this, that’s not my intention. John and I worked so closely together these last few months and I miss him terribly. All of the medical specialists who worked with John will be together in September and I hope to visit you soon after. Hopefully, we will both be better prepared to talk about him then. I and my twin boys have prayed for you and your family and we will continue to remember John and your family in our prayers. We are so sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,

Lynette, please accept my sincere heartfelt sympathies upon the loss of John. It was just a few weeks ago at the 30th reunion that I was thinking about all of us and the good times we had back then. Take some comfort in knowing that he is in a better place and you will be together again someday. You are in my prayers as you face this difficult time and know that I will miss him and even though we didn’t keep in touch as much as I would have liked he was a large part of my past and I often think of the times our “crew” spent together. God bless and protect you & the family…Woody Michaels
