KAISER, John Thomas 82, of Wheeling, died Sunday, June 11, 2006 at his home.
John was born December 5, 1923 in Wheeling, a son of the late Bernard E. and Margaret Lynch Kaiser. He was a Methodist by faith, retired from the W.V. State Road Commision, worked as a paralegal for many local attorneys, and was a US Army WWII veteran.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife Martha Jane Kaiser in 1995; a sister, Margaret Lewis; and two brothers, William and Robert Kaiser.
Surviving are a sister, Elizabeth Wolfe of Bellaire; three brothers, Lawrence Kaiser of Columbus, Ohio, Michael G. Kaiser of Barnesville, Ohio, and Tim Kaiser and his wife Debbie of St. Clairsville, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 12 Noon until time of funeral services at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, with the Rev. Bob Upson officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, with full military graveside honors provided by the Moundsville Veterans Honor Guard.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6350 North Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309

I’m so sorry for your loss. I taught with Larry Kaiser at Boggs Run Grade School and saw the name in the paper. It is so hard to know what to say, but it is gratifying to know you have friends and family to share this time with. Bonnie Richmond Treiber
