John Kenneth Green, Jr. 81 of Mar-
tins Ferry, Ohio died Saturday Jan-
uary 31, 2001 at the East Ohio Reg-
ional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Oh
He was born August 1, 1922 in Bell-
aire, Ohio a son of the late John W
and Ella Lucas Green. John was a retied automotive mechanic for the former McClain Motor Company and a
member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist
Church both in Bellaire, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers,
Surviving are four sons, John R. Green of Bellaire, Ohio, Larrie D. Green of El Paso, Texas, Kenneth S.
Green of Richmond, Virginia and RodgerE. Green and his wife, April of Columbus, Ohio, one sister, Hazel Lewis of Columbus, Ohio and
one brother, George Green of Young-
stown, Ohio. Also nine grandchild-
ren and nine great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home and
Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire,
Ohio on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm where services will be held on Thursday at 1 pm with Rev.
Michael Tolliver, officiating. In-
terment in the Greenwood Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio. Memorial contri-butions may be made to the New Be-
gining Church 3400 Franklin Street

I love my papa and I did not know him at all because I was a baby at the time and i miss him alot I wish he was here so i can get to know him and play with my papa. well im so sorry to here that my great-grandfather died and it was sad to here that and i wish today that he was here with us. And i remember when he was a live that we did help him out the best way we could. Pap was the best he never got in to trouble he always stand to his self and never cost trouble for anyone.
