SIEBIEDA, John J., 68, of Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV, died Sunday, March 16, 2003, in New Martinsville Health Care Center. John was born June 23, 1934 in Wheeling, a son of the late Joseph and Antonina Drabek Siebieda. He was retired from McCann Distributing and was a member of the former St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Wheeling. He was also a member of the Cave Club, I.O.L.A. Club and the Teamsters Union Local No. 697. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Walter and William Siebieda. Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Shirley Smith Toepfer Siebieda; a daughter, April Siebieda of Bellaire, Ohio; step-daughter, Jacqueline Patterson and her husband, Allen of Triadelphia; a step-son, John Toepfer and his wife, Paula, of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Stella Kussick, Helen Horbatak and Wanda Porter, all of Mozart; two brothers, Joseph Siebieda and his wife, Virginia, of Bethlehem and Matthew Siebieda and his wife, Frieda, of Bellaire; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a special nephew, Marion Siebieda and his wife, Mariann, of Mozart; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 3828 Jacob Street, South Wheeling where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Patrick Condron officiating. Interment in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens, Sherrard. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Altmeyer Funeral Home 3928 Jacob Street, Wheeling in memory of John Siebieda.
