John H. Patterson

PATTERSON, John H., 72, of South Frazier Avenue, Wheeling, died Saturday December 8, 2001 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling. He was born February 21, 1929 in McMechen, a son of the late Chester and Nellie R. Wilson Patterson. He was a retired glass cutter for W.A. Wilson Glass and a Protestant by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Emma P. McAbee Patterson; a daughter, Judith McAbee, a brother, Ralph Patterson and two sisters, Mildred, and Sue Andlinger. Surviving are his children, Sandy Reed, Jim McAbee, Donnie Boo McAbee all of Wheeling, Tina Gebrosky of Triadelphia, Pam Young of Moundsville, Patty McAbee of Wheeling, Kenny Patterson of Ohio, Mark and Danny Patterson, both of Illinois, Lori Garloch and Nancy Baumann, both of Florida and Esther Zabran of Illinois; a brother, Harry Patterson of McMechen; a sister, Alive Jaciewicz of Cleveland, OH; 29 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. Friends will be received on Tuesday December 11, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling. Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
