I am sorry to hear of John’s passing, and wish to express my sympathy to his family. I have to admit, I’ve had some unique experiences with John over the years, but also a lot of fun. In closing, John is a Local Brother and a Friend that I will sadly miss.

John was a big part of my family’s life since I was young. He was my cousin but was more like a older Brother to me.

Living close to each other I always would see John coming or going each day.Things aren’t going to be the same without our John. You made us laugh, even cry at times and always had a way about you that would cheer up anybody. I will never forget you my Brother, till we meet again someday Rest in Peace John. We always will love you.

John was a friend for more than 50 years. We grew up in the same area, worked the same farms and rode the same bus.

He will be deeply missed by both of us. “Secret Squirrel & his Sweetie Mel.” RIP Johnny !!

My sincere condolences to John’s family. I sure am going to miss that lovable teddy bear, he was a dear friend of mine for I can’t even count the years. I always loved running in to him when I came home to visit. Goodbye for now John, until we meet again.

Thinking about John has brought back a lot of good old memories of some crazy times in the 70s & 80s. Although I haven’t seen John in many years, I still feel a great loss and deep sadness. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

We just spoke Saturday ,it’s nice to know you were thinking of me,and I’m happy we had that conversation. I had so much fun at your Christmas dances and Annual Summer picnics…and even though it was only twice a year, I was honored to be your “stand in” date. You got me out of the house and kept me laughing, which helped me more than I ever let you know–I will miss you Johnny and our get togethers but especially your texts every now and then to let me know someone cared. I pray I did the same for you….

What a shock. Your passing brought back great memories when all of us were growing up, the July 4 picnics with you setting off M80’s, don’t think God allows them in heaven. Give everyone a hug for me in heaven. Rest in peace cousin.
