Margaret, I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing. John was a very respectful employee and a very hard worker. The US Navy and the WDE shipboard sailors that he worked with for many years of his Civil Service employment respected his expertise and friendly disposition while working on their ships. I personally never had a better person working for me while employed at the old “Navel Sea Support Center Atlantic”, Portsmouth, VA. I still have fond memories of John cooking a turkey in a 5 gallon can at your home many years ago. He will surely be missed. May GOD bless you and your family. John is now talking and visiting with many of his past work mates in Heaven: John Kappers, Fred Routt, Phil Galbreath, Bill Shelton, Bill Belli and many, many more. These were all good men. May we all join John in the near future. “Praise be to GOD”

Margaret, I’m so sorry to have heard about John. I would like to take this time to thank you and John, for always taking such good care of my brother, David. You both treated him like a son for the majority of his life which meant a great deal to both of us. In David’s eyes, you and John are his family and will always be close to his heart.

Love, Bill & Debi Schaefer
