John Alan Pritsch, 71, of Moundsville, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2003, in Kindred Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was born Jan. 9, 1932 in Bellaire, Ohio, the son of the late William and Effie M. Faulkner-Pritsch.
He was a retired employee of the former Olin Chemical Co., Moundsville; a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and a Protestant by faith. He was also a member of Moundsville American Legion Earl Francis Post 3 and Moundsville Eagles Aerie 499.
Surviving are the children of John and Ruth Pritsch, Lucinda Nicholson and her husband, Gary of Glen Dale, Rhonda Greer and her husband, Russell of Naples, Fla.; a grandson, Ian Greer of Naples; his fiance, Elizabeth Yoho of Moundsville; two sisters, Erma Robinson of New Castle, Pa and Arleeta Williams of Apex, NC.
Friends received 4-9 p.m. Thursday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, with Rev. Patricia Anderson and Rev. Burl Jernigan officiating. The Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct military services at the funeral home. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville at the convenience of the family.

We are so sorry to learn that you lost your father. He was a very nice man. May you find comfort in that he is in God’s hands now.
