Always smiling, always cheerful and happy. That’s how I remember Jennie! I think of the many lucky children who were taught by her, and how blessed they all were to have her teach them at the start of their young lives. I know Jennie is in Heaven helping God teach all the little ones up there!

I apologize for the tardiness as I just happened to stumble upon this and felt the urge to leave a msg.

Jennie was my oldest child’s first teacher for VBCPS in 1998 and I also ended up being a coworker of hers from 2007 until she retired. She gave my son the gift of the love of learning that he still carries with him as an Honor’s Student Jr @ ODU. Teaching “little people” was a joy for her as she told me many times and she is one reason why I became a sub-teacher for Rosemont Forest. I loved working with her and sometimes for her and watching how she turned on the magic lightbulbs in those Kindergartners eyes. Jennie has been missed this past year and will continue to be missed – always. May you find peace and happiness knowing how much joy &love she gave to so many.
