Jeanne V. Heatherington, 80, formerly of Bellaire, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 22, 2008.
She was born March 9, 1927 at Oakdale, PA., a daughter of the late William and Rosa Kargle Cavanaugh.
Jeanne was a retired bookkeeper and a Catholic by faith.
She was a member of American Legion Auxillary 52 and a life member of the VFW Auxillary 626 of Bellaire, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Ken Moyer, her siblings; Eileen Eaton, James Cavanaugh, Rose Koby, Irene Mylnek and her granddaughter, Michelle Heatherington.
Surviving are five children; John Pati Heatherington, Richard Heatherington, Marilou Danny Johnston, Michael Judy Heatherington and William Kathy Heatherington, two brothers; William Eileen Cavanaugh and Walter Cavanaugh, four sisters; Barbara Harry Campbell, Darlene Dick Campbell, Charolette Conrad Cardillo and Nancy Paul Hrubik, thirteen beautiful grandchildren and twenty-three beautiful great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of the services, at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 25, 2008, at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory, 204 West Main street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950. Monsignor Gene w. Mullett will officiate.
