Janice R. Streeter
Virginia Beach – Janice Raye Streeter, 70, passed away January 20, 2012. Born in Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Geneva Shook. She was a master quilter and a member of the Tidewater Quilters Guild.
Janice leaves behind her three children, son Larry David Streeter, Jr. and daughter Lori Michelle Watters, both of Virginia Beach, and daughter Melissa Lynne Wills and her husband Jeff of Maryland; three grandchildren, Melanie Ange Winslow and her husband Dustin, Caleb Andrew Wills, and Seth David Wills; and her great granddaughter, Cayden Grace Winslow. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Lawrence David Streeter, Sr.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Rd in Virginia Beach. A reception for the family will follow the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered to the family at altmeyer.com.
I wish to express my sadness to the family at the loss of Mrs. Streeter. May the happy times you spent with her substain you now. Blessing to the family.
The members of the Virginia Beach Town Center Lions Club offer our condolences to the Janice’s Family. We enjoyed her participation in our social activities as her husband was a long and valued member of our club.
