Jane B. Trexel

JANE B. TREXEL, 76 of Shadyside, Ohio died Friday January 2, 2009 at the Caring Touch at Lockbourne in Lockbourne, Ohio.

She was born June 10, 1932 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Fred and Nora Mishler Zimmer.

Jane was a dental assistant for the late Dr. Michael DeMarco’s Dentist Office and an employee of the former Innovations in Wheeling, West Virginia. She was a member of the Lincoln Avenue Methodist Church in Shadyside, Ohio, the Four Leaf Clover Class, the Red Hat Society and the Wheeling Womens Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Trexel on January 14, 2000.

Surviving are three children, James F. Trexel and his wife, Ute of Chicago, Illinois, Joyce Trexel Swanger and her husband, Rick of South Bloomfield, Ohio and Jacqueline Trexel of Powell, Ohio, one sister, Sarah Ames of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Also two grandchildren, Eric Swanger and Lindsey Swanger and one niece, Jody Kessler.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, Ohio on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 pm until time of services at 8 pm with the Rev. Donald Perks officiating. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 pm at the Stahl Mennonite Church in Krings, Pennsylvania followed by interment in the Stahl Mennonite Cemetery.
