Jamil Lange Holmes, 38, died at home in Newport News on Sunday, January 18th. Jamil was born on November 4th, 1976 to Jacklyn Dinwiddie Parker and Quint Lange. Jamil lived life to the fullest and did all he could for the ones he loved. He was kind, generous and loyal and helped those in need. He was a fix-it man extraordinaire. He had a gift for cooking, carpentry, painting and for making us all laugh. He was deeply loved and will always be missed. Jamil is survived by his sister Angela McCray Zoblisien, brothers Chad Holmes and Simon Lange and his Grandmother, Sheila Dinwiddie. His memory will live in the hearts of all his family including his niece and nephew, great nephews, aunts and uncle, thirteen first cousins, as well as a host of in-laws, in-loves, extended family and friends galore. He joins his Uncle Jimbo Dinwiddie at the best fishing hole in the sky. Peace and Love forever. Amen. There will be a celebration of his life for his friends and family at the home of Mark and Ellie Fetterly Saturday, January 24th at 2:00.
