James R. Paulette 71, formerly of Wayne L. Hayes Apartments, Martins Ferry, Ohio died Saturday, April 24, 2010 in Cumberland Pointe Nursing Home St. Clairsville, OH.

Jim was born August 16, 1938 in Mingo Junction, OH, a son of the late John and Anna DeLoretta Paulette.

He worked for the State of Ohio Liquor Stores and was a member of St. John Catholic Church Bellaire, OH.

Preceding him in death was a son Christopher James Paulette.

Surviving are a sister, Nancy Carl Piper of Bellaire, OH, two brothers, John Sharon Paulette of Hollywood, FL, and Joseph Nancy Lee Paulette of Geneva Missouri, nieces and nephews, Cathy Bell, Carl Piper Jr, Rhonda Corea and John Paulette III and several great nieces, nephews, uncles and cousins.

Funeral liturgy with Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010 in St John Catholic Church Bellaire, Ohio with Monsignor Gene W. Mullett as Celebrant.

Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Bellaire, Ohio.

Jim and I were classmates and very good friends. We called each other to just talk and I was always available when he needed a ride until recent years. He was a good person and now rests peacefully with our Lord. I will miss him. My sympathy goes out to Nancy and brothers Jo Jo and John. God bless you!

Jim and I were Classmates in High School. I havent seen him to talk to in many years. He will be in my prayers.

Jim was a classmate at St. John Central. I remember him as a fine basketball player and a gentleman. My condolances go out to his family.

My condolences to Jo and “Bo”,Jim and I played on many basketball teams together and were good friends. I haven’t seen him in many years, but have always inquired about him. Im sure he will be very well taken care of now.
