Barbara –

It was a beautiful church service this morning. I didn’t know your son, but his Mom is very special so he had to be too. Your family will continue to be in my prayers. God Bless.

Dear brother, I will miss you and all the good times we had watching football, going to gun shows, shooting range, fishing and so many more fun things we did together. Love you always, Jimbo

Dearest brother, I will miss you deeply. I will remember you while camping, of the good times spent with you fishing and telling jokes. I will miss having discussions with you about the movies we just watched and seeing who would buy the next good movie first. I will miss us deciding who was the oldest on our birthdays. Dear brother until me meet again, be comforted in Gods arms until I see you again….I Love you. Ole Sis

I have many fond memories of working side by side with you on the street. You always had a life story to tell and with each one came a piece of guidance that was appreciated. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. You will be missed.

Jim’s many life experiences, his uncommon common sense and his straight forward approach to law enforcement made him not only a good “street cop”, but also a good friend. Lots of good memories…

It was a pleasure working with you my friend. Rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy goes out to those who have lose a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend. May the hole in your hearts be filled with the knowledge that Rick is safe with his Lord and is free of the horrible disease which took him away from all who loved him.

My partner, Grover Davis and I send our deepest condolences, from Iraq, on your loss. We have both worked with “Casp.” on the street, as we were his crime scene unit. For me, he was a great friend to laugh with and talk engines. We will miss him dearly. God Bless you and your family.

To Barbara, Brenda, Shirley, Rosemary and Tina..We’ve all held a special place in Rick’s heart as he has in ours. He’s in a better place now waiting for us to join him. After 30 years we were still friends and I send my love and deepest sympathy to you and oh so many memories…

When I think of you Jim, I think about how quick you always were with a smile. I’m glad for the time you spent with us at the Chesapeake Police Department. Rest in peace my brother.
