QUINN, James Michael, 89, of Pearl Street, Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, in East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. James was born April 30, 1912, in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Jack and Mary Baker Quinn. He was a retired electrical engineer for T.C.I.; a member of the National Archery Association; and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Alfred Quinn; two sisters, Christine Klug and Mary Agnes Evans. Surviving are his wife, Clara T. Neidert Quinn; three sons, Michael Quinn and his wife, Mary Ann of Dayton, Ohio; James Quinn and his wife, Krim, of Birmingham, AL; William Quinn and his wife, Barb, of Kent, OH; two daughters, Mary Ann Perko and her husband, Frank, of Wheeling; Patricia Spinndler and her husband, Larry, of Blackwood, N.J.; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, where a Vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Thomas Magary as celebrant. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
