James M. Hall, 69 of East Liverpool, OH passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness. He was born in Youngstown, OH on November 17, 1945 a son to the late John D. and Cora Elizabeth Roush Hall.
Mr. Hall was a 1963 graduate of Weirton High School he then continued on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy where he served during Vietnam serving three separate tours. James moved back to this area from Indianapolis in 1999 where he was self-employed as a Real Estate Appraiser. He was the current president of Calcutta Rotary, formerly on the Red Cross & Salvation Army Board of Advisors, a former member of the East Liverpool Country Club Board of Directors and an avid golfer which he greatly enjoyed.
He is survived by a son: Scott Hall and his wife Kristi of Indianapolis, IN; his life partner Jane Telzrow of East Liverpool, OH and three grandchildren: Rowan Hall, Jason Rosner and Erica Rosner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Tori L. Rosner and a brother: John Hall.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 4 P.M. with Pastor Mike Lorenzo of the Every Day Church in New Manchester, WV officiating. Following the service the Tri-State Burial Group will accord full military honors.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta Chapel on Saturday, January 31. 2015 from Noon until the time of the service at 4 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the East Liverpool Country Club Memorial Fund at: 2485 Parkway Avenue, East Liverpool, OH 43920 and to the Every Day Church at: P.O. Box 2736, East Liverpool, OH 43920.

I only met Jim twice through Rotary. He gave me a tour of Calcutta to show me some projects Calcutta Rotary had done. Jim was very friendly and warm. I am very sorry to learn of his passing. Phil Mariola, Rotary District 6650 Governor

Janie please know you have my deepest sympathy and that you and your family will be in my prayers during this most difficult time. I had nothing but the greatest respect for Jim and enjoyed getting to know him over the years. He will be greatly missed.
