Jim Ogden, 69 died Saturday Dec.24th after several years of illness. He was a Virginia State Game Warden for 44 years and moved to Virginia Beach in 1966. He was a life time member of Creeds Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department and a Past Master of Princess Anne 25 Masonic Lodge. He was an excellent son, brother, father, grandfather, and in-law. He was a devoted husband to Julia Royer Ogden of 48 years. His children were Cholly and his wife Valerie Ogden, Ollie Ogden, and Arbee Ogden, deceased. His grandchildren were Raliegh Ogden, Valenne and her husband Jay Varnadoe, and Codie Ogden. His pets were Tux, Kitty, Sandy, Rusty Red, and Freckles. He will be missed by friends and loved by family. His parents and siblings were Robert and Annie Ogden, Jeanette Chittum and Charles Ogden all deceased of Buena Vista, VA. A memorial service with Masonic Rites will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church at Princess Anne Rd. and Pungo Ferry Rd. in Creeds at 1 pm on Thursday Dec.29th.
