James Joseph Kuhar, 59 of St. Clairsville, Ohio, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania died Monday, May 18, 2015 at his residence.
He was born December 4, 1955 in Wheeling, West Virginia a son of Dorothy A. Stillmak Kuhar and the late Joseph John Kuhar.
Jim was a Systems Analyst for the Bayer Corporation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the Ohio University and his Master’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Alan Kuhar.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Dorothy A. Kuhar are his brother, Rick Christine Kuhar of St. Clairsville, Ohio. Also two nieces, Diane Jason Schubert and Lorrie Kuhar and one nephew, Craig Kuhar.
Funeral liturgy with Mass was held at the St. Mary Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio at the convenience of the family with Fr. Michael Gossett, as Celebrant with burial following in the Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

I worked with Jim at Bayer from 1983 until moving to Florida in 1997. We had some awesomely fun times. He was very smart – one of the best IT people. I remember when he had all of his leg surgeries & he ended up being so tall! My husband & I have kept in contact with him thru the years. He is sadly missed. I will pray for you in your grief.
