Virginia Beach- James Herbert Milam, 79, died May 16, 2001.
Born in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Iva Milam.
Survivors include wife, Dolly June Milam; daughters; Chris Evans and husband Jim of Virginia Beach , VA; Carla Bowser & husband Steve of Indiana; brothers Brady Milam of South Charleston, WV; Kenneth Milam, Jr of Cleveland, OH; sister Betty Burdette of Akron, OH, and five grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Friday, May 18 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Assembly of God by Rev. Don Goff and Rev. Joe Gwynn with burial in Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach chapel Thursday, May 17 from 7:00-9:00 pm.
