James H. Imperata, 55, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, formerly of Shadyside, Ohio, died Saturday February 23, 2002 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was born December 24, 1946 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of Henry and Lindy Thomas Imperata.
He was a foreman at Ohio Valley Coal Company; a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio; a Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion Post 521 Shadyside.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Cheryl Imperata; a son, Eric Imperata of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter, Kimberly Pascek and her husband Mark of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a sister, Susan Curtis and her husband, John of Westerville, Ohio; a granddaughter, Gabriella Pascek.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-9 PM Monday at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home, 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, Ohio 43947.
Funeral liturgy with Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
Interment in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, Ohio.
Vigil service will be held at 3PM
Monday. American Legion will hold services on Monday at 7:30 PM.
