Klutch, James Francis, Sr., 70, of Wheeling, WV, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009, along with his faithful dog, Mindy, in a tragic fire on Wheeling Island.

He was born April 22, 1939 in Washington, PA, a son of the late Franklin B. and Lela Kelly Klutch. Mr. Klutch was a retired employee of Willamette Industries, Chicago, IL, with 38 years of service, and a Christian by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marian L. Klutch, on Sunday, July 5, 2009; a sister, Linda Pettit.

Surviving are two sons, Dean J. Kathy Klutch, Sr. of Rolling Meadows, IL, and James F. Klutch, Jr. of Avondale, AZ; a brother, George Kelly Klutch of Rolling Meadows, IL; a sister, Silvia Grace Ray Rock of Washington, PA; three grandchildren, Deanne Pamela Klutch, Dean J. Klutch, Jr. and Joshua James Klutch; three great-grandchildren, Haley Jade Klutch, Daneille Grace Danca and Seth Alexander Danca.

Friends received 2-4 & 7-9 pm Monday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the New Life United Methodist Church, Wheeling Island, with Rev. Debra Dague officiating.

Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.

Dean, I stood there crying when I heard the news, everyday is more tradgic. How are you and your Family holding up? God Bless you all. Im so sorry, Im sure there are no words to take the numbness away. I wish there were something we could say or do for you.I am just HEARTBROKEN for you, and you are right Jimmy was a HERO! Im so so sorry, I can not imagine your pain, I wish you didnt have to deal with this this way, Its not fair. YOU and yours, sure have some of the BEST Gaurdian Angels! As hard as it seems take care of you. Your family needs you, And you are their Hero, So be strong, as hard as that may be. Were all praying for you, We Love you! And God be with you. Jimmy You were so brave, when It came to your son, you died for him, It didnt matter, you never thought about anything, your Dad,your son, You Were more than a Hero, You showed every child that knows you what It means when we tell our kids Id die for you!!
