James E. McCauley, Sr.
Age: 61

James E. McCauley, Sr., 61 of Ephriam St. East Liverpool, Ohio died Friday, June 13, 2003 at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, Ohio following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Wellsville, Ohio on December 13, 1941 to the late Harvey A. and Dorothy Kroskey McCauley, where he spent most of his life.

Mr. McCauley is a graduate of Wellsville High School Class of 1959. He spent from 1959 to 1968 in the United States Navy serving two tours in Viet Nam.
He is also a member of the Wellsville American Legion Post 70 and the Wellsville VFW Post 5647.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Santimarino McCauley of Berea, KY. also 3 loving children; James E. McCauley, Jr and his wife Melissa of East Liverpool, David L. Flara and his wife Charlene of Chester, Md., Jennifer E. Robbins and her husband Michael of Westminster, Md., 1 brother; Harvey McCauley of Wellsville, Ohio, 2 sisters; Saundra White and her husband, Harlan of Ariz., and Dorothy Rae Lynn and her husband Andrew of Clearwater, Fla., 4 beloved grandchildren; Kara Marie Robbins, Cassandra Lee Robbins, DeAnna Flara and David L. E. Flara.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by 1 brother; Robert McCauley and 1 sister; Sally Patterson.

Services will be held Monday June 16, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes. Rev Paul Sturm will be officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery where full Military Honors will be accorded by the Tri State Veterans Burial Group.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Wellsville on Sunday, June 15, 2003 from 6-8 PM.

talked with aunt saundra and told me all about the full military service. said not a dry eye anywhere. wish we could have been there. god bless love aunt dorothy

Through your children, your grandchildren, your family and friends, you will never die. Daddy, I love you and I miss you so much. Just be patient and one day we will see each other again.
