McVay, Jacqueline Louise Flynn, 79, formerly of South Wheeling, died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Bishop Joseph H. Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, South Wheeling, a member of the Eastern Star and a former employee of the Paper Shack.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Zadie Spiker Flynn and a brother Harold Flynn.
Surviving is her husband, Joseph McVay, a daughter Carrol Vore, a granddaughter, Crystal Moran, a great granddaughter Autumn Moran all of Wheeling, two step-daughters, Charlene Carter of Chilicothe, OH and Holly McVay of Safety Harbor, FL, two sisters, Ellen Compton and her husband Neil of Sugar Creek, OH and Joie Arnett of Fairmont, WV.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, South Wheeling Chapel, 3828 Jacob Street, South Wheeling where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00am. Private entombment will be held at Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens.
