Iva WHITE

WHITE, Iva Neal, 81 formerly of Hillsboro, W.Va, died Tuesday, April 9, 2002 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling. Iva was born Aug. 17, 1920 in Princeton, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Ed and Mabel Clendenin Neal. She was a homemaker and the former president of the Women’s Association and Youth Fellowship Leader at Oak Grove Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, W.Va.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Preston G. White, Sr.; two brothers, Charles C. Neal and Richard S. Neal and a sister Mary Neal.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol Kinder and her husband Joe of South Windsor, Conn.; Sharon Byrd and her husband Ray of Wheeling, WV. One son, Preston G. White, Jr., of Charlotte, N.C.; one brother, Jack Neal of Roanoke, VA.; Five Granddaughter’s; Five great Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral service at Vance Memorial Presbyterian Church will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. at the Resthaven Memorial Park, Princeton, W.Va.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, 159 Edgington Lane, Wheeling, WV 26003.
