Irene M. Kampanidou, 99, was born in Kaimakli, Nicosia Cyprus. She is predeceased by her father Stylianos Koullakou and mother Maritsa Loi. Her father was a business man, and her mother was from Kaiwekli and from Italian origin. She is survived by her son Savvas and Pauline Campana, her grandson Paul Campana, her daughter Androulla and Reino Lindroos, her granddaughters Maria Lindroos, and Sari and Panayiotis Lindroos- Bantelas. She had two wonderful loving great grandchildren.

Irene M. Kampanidou was known for her integrity, honesty and excellent character.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, July 14, 6-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. The service will be held at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church 621 1st Colonial Road Virginia Beach, on Thursday, July15, 2010 at 2pm followed by a committal at Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, Laskin Road, Virginia Beach.
