McKeever, Ida M. ”Bonnie” Bonenberger, 81, of Williamsburg Circle, Wheeling, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, in Wheeling Hospital.
She was born Nov. 30, 1919, in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Leo J. and Helen R. Landers Bonenberger.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling, the Christian Mothers of St. Michael; and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Carroll Council 504.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie McKeever-Roberts; and a brother, Leo C. Bonenberger.
Surviving are her husband, Robert J. McKeever; two sons, Robert L. McKeever and his wife, Danette of Wheeling, and Thomas P. McKeever and his wife, Paula of Warren, Pa.; a brother, Landers P. Bonenberger and his wife, Barbara of Wheeling; seven grandchildren, Dr. Aaron Kerr of Memphis, Tenn., Michael H. McKeever of Wheeling, Sarah McKeever and Mary McKeever, both of Warren, Pa., Jessica Roberts, Gary Clinton and Nitasha Clinton, all of Wheeling.
Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling, where vigil services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday with rosary devotions by Christian Mothers of St. Michael to follow at 7:45 p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Sobus as celebrant. Interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
