Dear Robin and Family: I just heard about your Mom’s passing and you are in my thoughts and prayers. I remember your Mom as a very kind, warm, gracious, charming and beautiful woman. My memories of her are vivid and whenever I would visit Norfolk as child growing up, I always wanted to come to your family home. Your Mom always made me feel welcome! I hope you find comfort in the life long memories you possess and the love you shared which is for eternity. Take care and let’s keep in touch. Your Mom, my Mom and Aunt Addie will love that!! Love ya,

Nancy Flake Johnson & Family

Mrs. Ford was my second grade teacher at Henry Clay and my favorite teacher. She believed in her students and didn’t take “I can’t for an answer” and definitely didn’t mind standing up for you if you were right. Mrs. Ford saw our potential and made learning an adventure. As I look back, teachers had very little supplies to work with,however,you would have never known it, because Mrs. Ford made sure we had what we needed. A great educator, a loving person and one who will be greatly missed. Thank you for sharing your mom with me and may you and your family find peace in knowing that God brought home one of His beautiful Roses.

Robyn and family,

I will always cherish the teaching days w/ mom at Young Park Elementary School. It was a joy to work with her.She made teaching a real pleasure each day.

She also came to be a substitute teacher for me, after retiring, at Lindenwood Elementary. She was truly a dedicated teacher.

You are in my prayers.

I’m sorry for the lost of one or my favorite teachers your mother. My spirit just sank when my mother told me. Going home to be with God is a blessing from God and one that I’ll have to learn to

accept. May God keep and continue to bless you. Oveta Tabb

Please find comfort in knowing that

your mother has a place in heaven now! We have our own funny laughs;

because we know she is ruling -teaching & shopping. Her life on earth was very good but paradise is so much more. She is walking with God in perfect peace in a perfect place.

May God continue to bless you & your family with her precious memories!

Love ya, Toodie
