My dearest Ed I have thought of you often and am truly sorry. you were one of my dad’s “bestest friends” and a very special person in my life and my thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones you have left behind but you are in the best of hands now. you can look up dad and the tears you cried for him will now be replaced with smiles and dad will be happy to see you again. may you rest in peace all my love

My sincere sympathy to the Ed Cluney family. Ed was a dedicated VFW member and his works will long be remembered. I had the priviledge of having Ed as room-mate at the VFW National convention in Phoneix. That is where I learned thatg Ed was an avid “Red Sox” fan.He sent a get well card to Ted Williamls shortly after Ted had a stroke.

Marshall E. Guy, Past State Commander from Marion, Va.

May God bless the Ed Cluney family.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Mr. Ed, as I and many others called him, is loved by many and will be missed. I will miss hearing about him & my dad Phil K. giving each other a hard time about the Red Sox vs Yankees. My girls remember him for the candy drawer and lollipops. Mr. Ed, we love you.. Amy

Oh my gosh Ed now we know why we received 2009 dues already for your loved one’s “what a guy” thinking ahead. We knew your past couple of months were rough but didn’t know how rough. You are going to be missed by our family so very much.the past memories of our grandaughter’s spending a Saturday with you helping you file cards, you holding them in your lap and always asking about them especially Brittney & Amanda,We were your extended family at 4809.

After so many years we are going to miss you so much,Our thoughts & prayers go out to your family if you need us Marjorie just let us know. Love Gloria

To Mr. Ed Cluney’s family, We send our love, and sincere sympathy in the unexpected, sudden loss of your father, grandfather, great papa, brother,& uncle. We have been friends of Ed’s oldest daughter,Zetta and her husband, Bob for over 35 years. We were both in their wedding party and so well remember how proud Mr. Cluney was to walk his daughter down the aisle! He enjoyed having Zetta call him many times a week. And, as difficult as it was the past two months of Mr. Cluney’s life, he was loved and knew he was well taken care of, and surrounded by a loving, caring family of three generations! We have the assurance that Mr. Cluney is now with our Heavenly Father, which gives much peace to his loved ones that will join him, one day, as promised in the scriptures, to all that are saved by God’s grace. Our prayer for all of you: God knows where your hurt is the deepest, but God loves YOU, and HE has promised to wipe away ALL of our tears, one day…IF, we believe and trust HIM. Revelations 21: 1-7

Well Henry, pitchers and catchers report the 15th, I don’t think the Sox have a chance this year but I have been wrong a couple of times in the last few years. My prayers go out to your family, I miss you already. GO YANKEES!!
