Dear Family,

I was sorry to hear about Virginia’s passing. My mother, Della Shaver, and I were members of First church many years and worked with and were friends of Virginia’s. She was a good lady and will be missed. God bless all of you as you mourn her loss. Sincerely, Carolyn

Dear Nancy Jo and Family,

Just a note to express our Love and Prayers to you and your family on the passing of your mother. She was such a good friend to mother Della Shaver and we appreciated that friendship over the many years very much.

Your mother and my mother passed away at about the same age. It is so easy to think about prior times when we think of such friendships. We miss our trips to Shadyside, the school and the church. There is sadness at times of loss, however we know that the promise of a better place has been granted to our mothers. Remembering all the happy times, Love and Prayers to all.

Dear Nancy,

I just heard of your Mom’s death at church this morning. I know I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting your mother – but to have produced such a wonderful lady as yourself she must have been a gem. I will be thinking and praying for you and your family.
