Beloved MeMe, I remember the smell of bakery goods from Sherman’s when we would come for a visit. To this day, the smell of fresh baked bread reminds me of you. You are an inspiration to me to always be kind, generous, accepting and tolerant of others, as you always were. I love you. Your grand daughter, Coleen

Dear Family, We are saddened by the news of Aunt Helen’s passing. We wish that our mother, Miriam Johnson, and her half-sister Helen could have met in this life. I’m sure they are together now. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I fondly remember “Mrs. Coleman”, I was just a little girl when I lived next door to her, she was such a fine lady. I also remember her when she and Harry use to volunteer at the hospital when I worked there. I have often thought of her and EVERY memory is a great one, she was a great lady I learned a lot from her and pray for her soul and for her family. The Lord blessed all of us when he created Helen.

Sincerely,

Beth Cornelia Morris

We wanted to share our condolences on the death of Aunt Helen. She lived a remarkable life and taught us all about living life to the fullest. I always think of the afghans she made for so many family members. I am sure the reunion in Heaven with her husbands and other relatives was wonderful. The card games are still going on I know.
